Private I

Private I was a research project  collaborating with dance artist Kerryn Wise and multimedia artist Barret Hodgson. Intended as the research basis for further collaboration with FLYdance; Lounge Living, this work began explorations into the idea of espionage and voyeurism. The team spent time spying on each other, peeking and prying into their private spaces, rummaging through their drawers, discovering forgotten letters and lost memories. As they stepped into each other’s shoes asking rhetorical questions, imagining second lives and secret identities, the team began to look over their shoulders, suspected each other of everything and nothing.
